Winning In No-Man's LandDec 15, 2020
"Winning In No-Man's Land". It seldom goes your way but luck was with me. I'd just changed my fly, refused by a nice brown on the inside seam. As I cast the new dry at it, a second brown 4 feet to the right rose. The first again refused the dry but the gold bar to the right turned to come for a look. Bugger! Total can-opener - I couldn't mend as it was already staring down my fly. I had no choice but to open the arms as I couldn't walk nor step for falling off the ledge I was on. I hate being this exposed and open, the sets so weak. But it dug in and away we went, the net winning a few minutes later.
